Overview Join our vibrant team as a Sushi All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE) Server and Server, where your energetic and welcoming attitude will create memorable dining experiences for our guests. Duties • Greet guests warmly, take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and provide menu recommendations to enhance their dining experience • Serve sushi and other menu items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food presentation and safety protocols • Upsell additional menu items and promote special offers to increase sales and guest satisfaction through effective suggestive selling techniques • Manage multiple tables by prioritizing service needs, ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages, and attending to guest requests promptly • Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems like Cashiering or Food Industry-specific tools; process payments and provide correct change • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety regulations such as proper food handling and sanitation practices • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and ensure smooth service flow during busy hours, including nights and weekends Qualifications • Previous restaurant experience in a fast-paced environment such as fine dining, casual dining, or nightlife venues like nightclubs is highly desirable • Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus • Demonstrated skills in customer service, guest relations, upselling, and sales techniques to maximize revenue opportunities • Ability to manage time effectively in a dynamic setting while maintaining attention to detail • Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing; familiarity with food industry standards for sanitation and safety • Experience in food handling, food preparation, or kitchen environments is advantageous but not required • Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor that fosters guest loyalty and positive interactions • Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling practices to ensure guest safety Embark on an exciting journey with us where your enthusiasm meets exceptional service!
