Your Role: We are seeking a dedicated and customer-service–oriented Patient Services Representative to join our medical office team. This role is responsible for answering incoming calls, scheduling patient appointments, verifying insurance benefits, and performing a variety of front-office duties including patient check-in/check-out and collection of co-payments and outstanding balances. What You'll Do: - Answer and route incoming calls. - Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar. - Enter patient demographics in NextGen EPM. - Verify insurance coverage and collect required payments. - Scan and upload patient documents to the EHR. - Obtain signed ABNs for noncovered services. - Review accounts and collect balances. - Coordinate patient enrollment in the Patient Portal. - Greet patients and visitors. - Ensure all required paperwork is completed and scanned. - Schedule followups at checkout. - Deliver outstanding customer service to patients, clients, and staff. - Follow company policies as well as OSHA and HIPAA standards and guidelines. - Perform other duties as assigned by physicians or management.Experience / Education / Licensure Needed: - Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. - Experience: 23 years of healthcare office experience required. - Licenses/Certifications: None required.Core Values All team members are expected to promote and uphold SSC’s core values: - Trust - Respect - Integrity - Clear Communication - CollaborationBenefit Offerings: We offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package designed to support the well-being of our employees and their families.
