Design, build, and ship full-stack product features using Next.js, Python, and LLM agents, and contribute to multi-agent architecture and engineering culture.
4+ years software engineering experience with full-stack skills in React/Next.js and Python, hands-on LLM and multi-agent system experience, and strong ownership and collaboration.
Role: Core Full-Stack Engineer (Next.js + Python, Agentic Supply Chain) Location: Remote in the United States Team: ~10 people About SupplyWhy SupplyWhy is a vertical AI startup building multi-agent systems for industry-specific supply chain planning, starting with automotive. Our mission is to turn fragile, spreadsheet and rules based planning into resilient, self-healing supply chains that make better decisions in real time. We combine cutting edge agentic AI with supply chain domain expertise to solve a globally important problem. We have strong early go-to-market traction, a high performing sales team, and a recently closed funding round. Now we are growing our core engineering team. About the role As a core full-stack engineer, you will own features end to end across frontend, backend, and LLM agents. You will build UIs in Next.js, services and APIs in Python, and multi-agent workflows that real enterprises rely on. You will work closely with the founders, sales, and customers, and have real influence on product direction, architecture, and engineering practices. This role is a great fit for ambitious engineers who want responsibility early in their career and want to work on AI-native products with real-world impact. It is especially appealing if you are a strong CS graduate from a top program (for example Stanford or Berkeley) who prefers ownership over narrow roles. What you will do • Design, build, and ship end to end product features spanning Next.js, Python, and LLM agents. • Turn fuzzy supply chain problems into clear technical designs and production systems. • Help shape our multi-agent architecture including tools, memory, and orchestration. • Monitor, debug, and improve our systems based on data and user feedback. • Contribute to engineering culture, standards, and best practices as a core team member. Must have • Solid full-stack experience: modern frontend (React or Next.js) and backend services/APIs in Python. • 4+ years of software engineering experience, including owning meaningful features or systems in production. • Hands-on experience building with LLMs using providers such as OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini. • Experience with agentic or workflow style systems, such as multi-agent frameworks, tool or function calling, routing, memory, or retrieval. • Ability to design and refine prompts thoughtfully and improve agent behavior using data. • Habit of using AI coding tools (such as Cursor) to move faster while keeping quality high. • Collaborative, low ego style and strong ownership of outcomes, not just tickets. Nice to have • Experience building AI-native enterprise software such as copilots or decision support tools. • Exposure to supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, or large scale operations. • Experience working directly with customers or internal stakeholders on requirements and iteration. • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern DevOps practices. Why join us • Work on a hard, globally important problem at the core of the real economy. • High ownership and influence as a core member of a small, senior engineering team. • Strong sales and demand, so your work ships quickly and matters to real users. • Competitive salary with meaningful equity. Benefits are being built and will expand as we grow. • Remote within the US with a focused, ambitious, and supportive team.
