Operational leadership: leading and managing multi-site manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and objectives. 2. Strategic planning: develop and implement manufacturing strategies that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality. 3. Compliance and safety: ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards across all manufacturing facilities. 4. Performance management: establish key performance indicators (KPI’s) to monitor manufacturing performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives. 5. Team development: build and lead a high performing operations team, providing mentorship and professional development opportunities. 6. Budget management: oversee the budgeting process for manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control. 7. Cross functional collaboration: collaborate with other departments, to include sales, marketing, and finance, to align production capabilities with market demand. 8. Project management: spearhead major manufacturing projects and capital investment that drive long term competitive advantage. 9. Research and innovation: conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, end user interviews to collaborate with engineers to prototype and test new grip technologies. 10. Lifecycle management: monitor performance through reporting and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement and manage end of life transition.
