Candidates should have 4-7+ years of experience in marketing or growth, ideally in early-stage startups. They should be hands-on, collaborative, and possess a strong storytelling ability to translate vision into compelling narratives.
This role is about telling that story to the enterprise market. As our Founding Lead, B2B Marketing, you’ll shape the narrative that inspires executive buyers, consultants, and brokers—and you’ll execute with speed. You’ll be both strategist and doer: experimenting, iterating, and laying the foundation for a world-class marketing team. What You’ll Do Develop and refine positioning and messaging for employers, health plans, and brokers. Craft narratives and assets that resonate with executive buyers and consultants. Run growth experiments across channels—paid, organic, PR, and events. Build enablement materials (decks, one-pagers, case studies) that drive sales. Launch campaigns across email, social, and events. Partner directly with Sales and Growth to generate demand. Build the early marketing playbook and foundation for a future team. Who You Are 4–7+ years in marketing or growth, ideally at early-stage startups. A storyteller who can translate vision into sharp narratives. Hands-on: comfortable writing copy, designing decks, and running campaigns. Entrepreneurial and thrives in ambiguity with a bias toward action. Collaborative, especially with Sales and Outbound. Bonus: a whiz with tools like Zapier, or Cursor—able to hack together scrappy workflows, automations, and creative growth experiments. Bonus: healthcare, benefits, or other complex B2B experience.
