Reports to: CEO Employment type: Full-time Schedule: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, with some flexibility, working with a globally distributed team Openings: One; immediate start About us Super Organics is a multi-brand wellness and supplement company headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We're the parent company behind a growing portfolio of trusted supplement brands—each built on a commitment to quality, transparency, and products people can feel good about. About the role We are hiring a Supply Chain & Operations Manager to oversee supply planning and operational execution across our growing portfolio of consumer brands. This is a hands-on role reporting directly to the CEO, with no direct reports. You will manage the flow of products from demand planning and purchase orders through manufacturing, quality release, warehousing, and fulfillment. You will also coordinate packaging artwork, manage relationships with contract manufacturers and our third-party logistics provider, own brand-side quality and compliance decisions, and identify opportunities to reduce fulfillment and shipping costs. The primary objective is to keep products in stock while managing inventory and working capital responsibly and maintaining product quality and compliance. Inventory planning and purchasing Monitor inventory, sales velocity, open orders, and projected stock coverage by SKU. Forecast demand using sales history, seasonality, promotions, and known business needs. Identify potential stockouts early and take action to prevent them. Prepare and submit purchase orders with appropriate quantities and delivery dates. Maintain healthy inventory levels without tying up unnecessary cash. Track purchase orders from placement through production, quality release, receipt, and reconciliation. Manufacturing and supplier management Serve as the primary operational contact for contract manufacturers and key suppliers. Obtain clear commitments for production schedules, quantities, pricing, and availability dates. Monitor production progress and escalate delays or constraints that could affect product availability. Coordinate production priorities, new product launches, reformulations, and product transitions. Reconcile ordered, produced, released, and received quantities. Work with Accounting to resolve invoice discrepancies and coordinate payments. Quality and compliance Own brand-side quality and compliance decisions for products made by contract manufacturers, including product release, holds, and disposition. Apply familiarity with dietary supplement current good manufacturing practices (cGMP), including 21 CFR Part 111, to supplier oversight, quality records, and outsourced manufacturing responsibilities. Review manufacturer quality documentation and testing against established product specifications before approving release; investigate discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions. Oversee label and packaging compliance reviews, including required information, approved claims, version control, and final artwork approval, involving qualified technical or regulatory expertise as needed. Maintain lot traceability, complaint records, and recall readiness; lead coordination of quality investigations, product holds, and recalls when needed. Document quality decisions and ensure manufacturers, warehouses, and internal teams act on the correct product status. Packaging and artwork Coordinate packaging artwork for new products, updates, and reorders. Manage timelines across internal teams, designers, printers, packaging suppliers, and manufacturers. Maintain organized records of approved artwork, packaging specifications, proofs, and production files. Ensure the correct approved materials are used for each production run. Identify artwork or packaging issues before they delay production. Warehousing and fulfillment Manage the operating relationship with the company's third-party logistics provider. Monitor receiving, inventory accuracy, fulfillment speed, damages, backorders, and shipping exceptions. Reconcile warehouse receipts against purchase orders and manufacturer shipment records. Resolve discrepancies involving inventory counts, product status, damaged goods, or missing receipts. Establish clear service expectations and escalation procedures with logistics partners. Shipping and cost optimization Analyze fulfillment, parcel, freight, packaging, and accessorial costs across direct-to-consumer and business-to-business orders. Identify opportunities to reduce shipping costs while maintaining acceptable delivery times and customer service. Evaluate carrier mix, service levels, packaging dimensions, shipment consolidation, and order routing. Review parcel, LTL, and other freight options for wholesale shipments. Audit logistics charges and investigate recurring billing or service issues. Systems and reporting Maintain reliable records of inventory, purchase orders, production status, receipts, and remaining balances. Provide clear reporting on stock coverage, at-risk SKUs, open orders, delivery commitments, and purchasing needs. Distinguish confirmed commitments from estimates and assumptions. Create practical processes and documentation that can scale with the business. What success looks like Products remain in stock and supply risks are identified early. Purchase orders are accurate and placed with sufficient lead time. Every open order has a clear status, owner, remaining quantity, and expected availability date. Packaging and artwork are completed without delaying production. Product release and compliance decisions are documented, with reliable lot traceability and recall readiness. Manufacturer shipments, warehouse receipts, and inventory records reconcile accurately. Logistics partners consistently meet service expectations. Inventory and shipping costs improve through measurable operational changes. Leadership has a clear view of supply risks, purchasing needs, and required decisions. At least 4 years of experience in supply chain, operations, purchasing, production planning, inventory management, logistics, or a related role. Direct experience managing both contract manufacturers and third-party logistics providers (3PLs). Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate sales and inventory data into purchasing decisions. Experience creating and managing purchase orders and reconciling them against receipts and invoices. Familiarity with dietary supplement cGMP requirements under 21 CFR Part 111 and the quality responsibilities of a brand that outsources manufacturing, including label compliance, product release, traceability, and recall readiness. Sound judgment and willingness to own quality and compliance decisions, document the basis for decisions, and involve qualified expertise when needed. Strong project-management, organizational, and communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and consistent follow-through. Comfortable working across several internal teams and external partners in a globally distributed team. Strong spreadsheet skills and the ability to learn inventory, ERP, accounting, and warehouse systems. Availability to work 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, with some flexibility. Strongly preferred: Experience in supplements. Prior experience in a regulated product category is not required.
