Security Officer - Full Time - $19/hr HIRING IMMEDIATELY Sunstates Security is currently hiring Full-Time Security Officers in the Princeton, NJ area. This position offers a pay rate of $19/hr - with weekly pay with benefits and PTO. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients. You will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas, monitoring surveillance equipment, controlling access, and responding to incidents in a calm and professional manner. Key responsibilities: • Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence. • Complete incident and shift reports accurately and in a timely manner. • Control access to buildings and restricted areas. • Report suspicious behavior, safety hazards, or security breaches. • Respond to alarms and emergencies in accordance with established procedures. • Provide excellent customer service while ensuring rules and regulations are followed. Requirements: • Valid NJ SORA security guard license. • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional security or leadership training a plus. • 1+ years of experience in security. • Strong observation and communication skills. • Ability to stay calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations. • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure. • Basic computer skills and ability to write clear reports. • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening. • Must have a valid driver's license. • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and work indoors/outdoors as needed. Schedule: • Fridays from 0800 to 2000 • Saturdays & Sundays from 0000 to 1200 • Monday from 0000 to 0800 A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders/SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
