Job Summary: This role is responsible for the strategic sourcing and procurement of aseptic packaging, cartons, flexible films, and corrugated materials used across our Better-for-You Beverage and Fruit Snacks product portfolios. The successful candidate will drive supplier performance, cost savings, innovation, and supply continuity. Experience in food manufacturing packaging procurement is strongly preferred. Leads sourcing strategies, supplier relationships, cost savings initiatives, risk management (supply assurance) across assigned categories. Execute as the designated SunOpta category representative for enterprise and globally negotiated categories, supporting procurement strategy implementation, supplier engagement, contract compliance, and internal stakeholder alignment. Essential Job Functions: Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned spend categories. Lead strategic supplier negotiations and contract management to optimize value and ensure supply assurance. Monitor market trends, supply dynamics, and emerging risks to inform procurement strategies. Manage supplier performance through scorecards, business reviews, and corrective action plans. Identify and execute on cost reduction, productivity, and value creation opportunities. Assess supply risks and implement mitigation and continuity plans. Serve as the designated SunOpta representative for assigned enterprise and globally sourced categories. Partner with Operations, Finance, R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain to support business objectives.
