Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in compliance or vendor management, strong knowledge of wage laws, CFIUS, OSHA, leadership skills, preferred certifications.
The Compliance & Audit Supervisor will oversee compliance programs related to prevailing wage laws, CFIUS (Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States) considerations, safety standards for third-party vendors, and audit/escalation processes. This role is critical to protecting the organization from regulatory, operational, and reputational risks. The supervisor will manage compliance staff, auditing and escalation staff, and serve as a subject matter expert across departments, while driving continuous improvement in thirdparty vendor compliance. Key Responsibilities Compliance Oversight • Ensure and enforce strict compliance with prevailing wage laws and certified payroll requirements across all applicable projects. • Ensure third-party contractor activities comply with CFIUS-related requirements. • Develop and maintain compliance programs, policies, and procedures for thirdparty vendor operations. • Supervise internal audits and inspections, reporting findings to leadership with corrective action plans. Contractor & Supplier Management • Oversee safety compliance of third-party vendors in alignment with OSHA, industry, and company standards. • Collaborate with Vendor Management, Legal, and Safety to evaluate third-party vendor compliance risks. • Review operations to ensure compliance with labor, safety, environmental, and ethical standards. • Strengthen vendor relationships to ensure transparency and accountability. Risk Management & Reporting • Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks throughout the supply chain. • Provide compliance reports and dashboards to senior leadership, highlighting risks and recommending mitigation strategies. • Investigate and resolve non-compliance issues, escalating where required. • Maintain thorough documentation for regulatory inquiries, audits, and internal reviews. Third-Party Vendor Operations • Familiarity with the vendor lifecycle management from pre-qualification to onboarding, service coordination, invoicing and service request close-out. • Operate cross-functionally at the various lifecycle stages to offer support and leadership. • Monitor and maintain vendor operations dashboards and reporting shared with leadership highlighting output and metrics. Leadership & Training • Supervise compliance staff, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and guidance. • Develop compliance training programs tailored to renewable project stakeholders, including contractors, vendors, and internal teams. • Foster a culture of compliance, safety, ethical decision-making, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Required: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Compliance, Supply Chain, or related field. • 5+ years of compliance, vendor management, or vendor operations experience. • Strong knowledge of prevailing wage laws, CFIUS regulations, and OSHA safety standards. • Proven ability to manage third-party contractor compliance programs. • Excellent leadership, auditing, and communication skills. Preferred: • Professional certifications (e.g., CCEP, CCEP-I, or similar). • Experience in a regulated industry such as construction, renewable energy, defense, or manufacturing. • Familiarity with risk management frameworks and supply chain security best practices.
