Director of Information Security – REMOTE, US  Take the next step in your cyber security career at SunFire! As the 65 and older demographic grows, the opportunities within this $700 billion+ marketplace will continue to drive significant growth for SunFire.  Our core quoting and enrollment technologies enable brokers and insurance agents to compliantly sell Medicare Advantage, Prescription Drug and Medicare Supplement plans within a proprietary cloud-based platform. Additionally, SunFire delivers transformative post-enrollment engagement solutions providing third-party verification technology and advocate services, ensuring the beneficiaries’ intent to enroll, health risk assessment completion as well as the activation of plan benefits.  What you’ll do: * Design, implement and execute technology security policies in our AWS environment, driven by the CISO * Run a portfolio of products that include identity and access management solutions along with data protection platforms. * Work closely with the information security office, Engineering and Database Services teams to deliver engineering services, operations, and strategy for a dynamic, complex enterprise infrastructure. * Represent SunFire with our carrier partnerships in security audits * Automation of vulnerability remediation, developing solutions for network and host intrusion detection, IAM, threat intelligence, fraud protection, MFA, and privileged access management. * Assess security plans for existing vulnerabilities, prioritize security for strategically important data, analyze reports generated by threat monitoring systems and run testing to anticipate potential issues * Communicate updates and assessments to the Executive team Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field * 5-10 years of experience in developing, implementing and running security solutions, with at least 2 years in an AWS environment * Identity Management experience in the following areas: * Single Sign-On, Identity Federation, Consumer Identity, and Multi-Factor Authentication * Identity Governance and Administration, User Provisioning, Access Certification, Identity Analytics, Role-Based Access Control * Privileged Access Management * Experience with GRC platforms/tools. Vanta a plus. * Experience with HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC2, and PCI standards * Knowledge of FedRamp is a plus * Experience with AWS security services to include AWS Security Center, AWS GuardDuty, AWS Config, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, CloudWatch Events, AWS Inspector, Lambda, and AWS Systems Manager * Strong understanding of multiple IAM services * Strong understanding of Data Protection including DLP and DRM; threat intelligence, fraud protection and endpoint security * Strong understanding in threat intelligence and fraud protection * Ability to document detailed product concepts in the context of user needs, business impacts, and technical requirements * Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience turning data into actionable insights * A self-starter mindset to challenge the status quo to find new solutions and drive out-of-the-box ideas * Believes in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, and trust across the team * Not afraid to ‘roll up your sleeves and seeks to go outside comfort zone to learn – pushes the team to do the same * Experimental and creative mindset to drive innovation   SunFire offers:   * Remote role in the US * Competitive compensation and bonus * Attractive benefits package  * Ability to build software to solve business problems and make a genuine impact * Equity opportunity   We are in high growth mode and need a self-motivated individual ready to contribute.
