Role Overview: As a Senior BI Developer at Suncap Technology Inc., you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing data warehouses and reporting systems. Your expertise will enable the company to harness data effectively, driving informed decision-making across various business units. What You'll Do: - You will design, develop, and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions to support business intelligence needs. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - You will optimize ETL processes to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance. - You will create and maintain complex reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights. - You will troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues promptly to minimize downtime. - You will mentor junior BI developers and contribute to best practices and standards. - You will stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve BI capabilities. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in BI development, data warehousing, or related fields. - Proficiency in SQL, ETL tools (such as Informatica, SSIS), and BI platforms (such as Power BI, Tableau). - Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and performance tuning. - Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is preferred. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark. - Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. - Certification in relevant BI or data management tools.
