An opportunity is available for an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide critical care support for adult and geriatric patients in a high-acuity setting. This contract role offers a chance to work a 3x12-hour night shift schedule within a well-equipped intensive care unit managing complex cases including ARDS, sepsis, stroke, and cardiogenic shock among others. Key Qualifications and Experience: • Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years ICU experience; first-time travelers are welcome • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH • Comfortable managing diverse critical care diagnoses such as STEMI, DKA, COPD exacerbation, liver failure, drug overdose, ESRD on CRRT • Proficiency with unit systems including Pyxis, Epic, and SBAR communication • Ability to work night shifts (19:00 - 07:00) on a 3x12-hour schedule with 1:2-3 patient ratios • Flexibility to float within the facility as needed and to work assigned holidays as outlined Responsibilities: • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients ensuring close monitoring and timely interventions • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes • Maintain adherence to facility policies, safety protocols, and clinical documentation standards • Participate in clinical orientation and ongoing compliance requirements to ensure readiness for assignment start Benefits include consistent scheduling, no travel pairs, and a supportive environment dedicated to professional growth.
