Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring our equipment is maintained, repaired, and ready for use, directly supporting our customers' success. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service. What You'll Do: - You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of rental equipment on-site and in the workshop. - You will perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment safety and reliability. - You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to quickly resolve issues. - You will document all service activities accurately and communicate effectively with customers and team members. - You will manage parts inventory and order supplies as needed to support repair work. - You will adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. - You will collaborate with the rental team to coordinate equipment availability and service schedules. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment repair or a related technical field. - Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems. - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. - Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in the equipment rental or construction industry. - Certification in equipment repair or a related technical discipline. - Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). - Ability to operate heavy machinery safely.
