Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing rental equipment to ensure it meets safety and performance standards. Your expertise will help minimize downtime for customers and support the company’s reputation for reliability and excellent service. What You'll Do: - You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of equipment including pumps, scaffolding, and construction tools. - You will perform routine maintenance and safety inspections to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition. - You will respond promptly to service calls and provide on-site repairs to minimize customer downtime. - You will maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers. - You will assist in training new technicians and share best practices to improve team performance. - You will ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during service operations. - You will manage inventory of parts and tools necessary for repairs and maintenance. What You Bring: - You have at least 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance or field service technician roles. - You possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. - You have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. - You are able to work independently and manage your time effectively in a fast-paced environment. - You have excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working with rental equipment or in the construction industry. - Certifications in equipment repair or safety training. - Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). - Ability to operate heavy machinery or specialized tools.
