Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing rental equipment to ensure it meets safety and performance standards. What You'll Do: - You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of equipment including pumps, scaffolding, and construction tools. - You will perform routine maintenance and safety inspections to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition. - You will respond promptly to service calls and provide on-site repairs to minimize customer downtime. - You will maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers. - You will assist in training new technicians and share best practices to improve team performance. - You will ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during service operations. - You will manage inventory of parts and tools necessary for repairs and maintenance. What You Bring: - You have at least 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance or field service technician roles. - You possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. - You have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. - You are able to work independently and manage your time effectively in a fast-paced environment. - You have excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working with rental equipment or in the construction industry. - Certifications in equipment repair or safety training. - Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). - Ability to operate heavy machinery or specialized tools.
