Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing our extensive equipment fleet to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This hands-on position requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality service. What You'll Do: - You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of rental equipment on-site and in the workshop. - You will perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability and safety. - You will collaborate with the rental and operations teams to coordinate equipment availability and service schedules. - You will maintain accurate service records and report on equipment status and repairs. - You will adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while working in various environments. - You will provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing their equipment needs. - You will assist in training new technicians and sharing best practices within the team. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance or field service technician roles. - Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with the ability to work on hydraulic, pneumatic, and diesel-powered equipment. - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to travel to job sites. - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and customers. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in the equipment rental or construction industry. - Certifications in equipment repair or maintenance (e.g., ASE, EPA, or manufacturer-specific certifications). - Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). - Ability to operate heavy machinery or specialized equipment.
