Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing our extensive equipment fleet to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. You will be the technical expert who ensures that all equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for use, directly impacting the success of our customers' projects. What You'll Do: - You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of rental equipment on-site and in the shop. - You will perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment failures. - You will collaborate with the rental and sales teams to ensure equipment availability and readiness. - You will maintain accurate service records and report on equipment status. - You will provide technical support and training to customers and team members. - You will adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during service operations. - You will manage parts inventory and order necessary components for repairs. - You will continuously update your technical knowledge to stay current with new equipment and technologies. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance or field service technician roles. - Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Proficiency with diagnostic tools and computerized maintenance management systems. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working with construction or industrial equipment. - Certifications in equipment repair or related technical fields. - Welding or fabrication skills. - Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in the equipment rental industry.
