Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing our extensive equipment fleet to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. You will be the frontline technical expert, providing timely service and support to keep projects running smoothly. What You'll Do: - You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of rental equipment on-site and in the shop. - You will perform routine maintenance and safety inspections to ensure equipment reliability. - You will collaborate with the rental and operations teams to coordinate service schedules and minimize downtime. - You will maintain accurate service records and report on equipment status. - You will provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing their equipment needs. - You will adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while working in various environments. - You will assist in training new technicians and sharing best practices. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment repair or a related technical field. - Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with construction or heavy equipment repair. - Certifications in equipment maintenance or related technical training. - Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). - Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
