Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing rental equipment to ensure it meets safety and performance standards. Your expertise will help minimize downtime for customers and support the company’s reputation for reliability and excellent service. What You'll Do: - You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of equipment including pumps, scaffolding, and construction tools. - You will perform routine maintenance and safety inspections to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition. - You will respond promptly to service calls and provide on-site repairs to minimize customer downtime. - You will maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers. - You will assist in training new technicians and share best practices to improve team performance. - You will ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during service operations. - You will manage inventory of parts and tools necessary for repairs and maintenance. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a field service technician or in equipment maintenance. - Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in the field. - Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working with rental equipment or in the construction industry. - Certification in equipment repair or relevant technical training. - Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). - Ability to operate company vehicles and trailers safely.
