Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring our equipment is maintained, repaired, and ready for use, directly supporting our customers' success on the job site. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service. What You'll Do: - You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of rental equipment on-site and in the shop. - You will perform routine maintenance and safety inspections to ensure equipment reliability. - You will collaborate with the rental team to coordinate equipment availability and service schedules. - You will maintain accurate service records and report on equipment status. - You will provide technical support and guidance to customers and team members. - You will adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while working in various environments. - You will assist in training new technicians and sharing best practices. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment repair or a related technical field. - Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. - Strong communication and customer service skills. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with construction or industrial equipment. - Certifications in equipment repair or maintenance. - Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). - Ability to operate a variety of vehicles and heavy equipment.
