Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing rental equipment to ensure it meets safety and performance standards. Your expertise will help minimize downtime for customers and support the company’s commitment to exceptional service. What You'll Do: - You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of equipment on-site and in the shop. - You will perform routine maintenance and safety inspections to ensure equipment reliability. - You will collaborate with the rental and sales teams to coordinate equipment availability and service schedules. - You will maintain accurate service records and report on equipment status. - You will provide technical support and training to customers and team members as needed. - You will adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while working in various environments. - You will assist in inventory management and ordering of parts and supplies. What You Bring: - You bring at least 3 years of experience in equipment repair or a related technical field. - You have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. - You possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. - You have the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively. - You demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with heavy construction or industrial equipment. - Certifications in equipment repair or maintenance. - Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. - Experience using diagnostic software and tools.
