Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring our equipment is maintained, repaired, and ready for use, directly supporting our commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach. What You'll Do: - You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of rental equipment on-site and in the shop. - You will perform routine maintenance and safety inspections to ensure equipment reliability. - You will collaborate with the rental and sales teams to coordinate equipment availability and service schedules. - You will maintain accurate service records and report on equipment status. - You will provide technical support and training to customers and team members as needed. - You will adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while working in various environments. - You will assist in inventory management and ordering of parts and supplies. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance or field service technician roles. - Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with heavy construction or industrial equipment. - Certifications in equipment repair or maintenance. - Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). - Welding or fabrication skills.
