Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing our extensive equipment fleet to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. You will be the technical expert who supports our rental operations by delivering timely and effective service in the field. What You'll Do: - You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of construction and industrial equipment on-site. - You will perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment downtime. - You will collaborate with rental coordinators to prioritize service calls and manage repair schedules. - You will maintain accurate service records and report on equipment status. - You will ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all service activities. - You will provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly and professionally with clients. - You will assist in training junior technicians and sharing technical knowledge. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance or field service technician roles. - Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. - Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment repair software. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with heavy construction equipment such as pumps, scaffolding, or earthmoving machinery. - Technical certifications related to equipment repair or maintenance. - Familiarity with safety regulations and OSHA standards. - Experience working in a rental equipment environment.
