Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all rental equipment is maintained, repaired, and ready for use. Your expertise will help minimize downtime for customers and support the company’s mission to deliver exceptional service and reliable equipment. What You'll Do: - You will perform routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of construction and industrial equipment. - You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to diagnose problems accurately. - You will conduct safety inspections to ensure all equipment meets regulatory and company standards. - You will document all service activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance. - You will collaborate with the rental team to coordinate equipment availability and service schedules. - You will provide technical support and guidance to customers and internal teams. - You will stay updated on new equipment technologies and repair techniques. What You Bring: - You bring at least 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance or field service, preferably in construction or industrial equipment. - You have strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills. - You possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. - You have excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. - You are able to work independently and manage your time effectively. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with diesel engines and heavy machinery repair. - Certifications in equipment repair or safety standards. - Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). - Strong customer service and communication skills.
