Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring our equipment is maintained, repaired, and ready for use, directly supporting our customers' success on the job site. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service. What You'll Do: - You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of rental equipment to ensure optimal performance. - You will perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime. - You will respond promptly to service calls and troubleshoot issues on-site or in the workshop. - You will maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers. - You will ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all service activities. - You will assist in training new technicians and share best practices within the team. - You will manage parts inventory and order supplies as needed to support repairs. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment repair or a related technical field. - Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working with construction or heavy equipment. - Technical certifications related to equipment maintenance or repair. - Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). - Ability to operate company vehicles and trailers safely.
