Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring our equipment is maintained, repaired, and ready for use at all times. You will be the frontline expert who supports our customers by delivering exceptional service and technical expertise directly at job sites. What You'll Do: - You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of rental equipment on-site. - You will perform routine maintenance and safety inspections to ensure equipment reliability. - You will collaborate with the rental and logistics teams to coordinate equipment availability and service schedules. - You will provide technical support and training to customers on proper equipment use. - You will document all service activities accurately and maintain detailed records. - You will respond promptly to emergency service calls to minimize downtime. - You will ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. - You will continuously update your technical knowledge to stay current with new equipment and technologies. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance or field service technician roles. - Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with heavy construction or industrial equipment. - Certifications in equipment repair or maintenance (e.g., ASE, EPA). - Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). - Welding or fabrication skills.
