Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician 2, you will play a critical role in maintaining and servicing our extensive equipment fleet to ensure optimal performance and safety. This position requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach to support our clients and keep their projects running smoothly. What You'll Do: - You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of rental equipment including pumps, scaffolding, and construction tools. - You will perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety. - You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals. - You will collaborate with the rental and operations teams to coordinate equipment availability and service schedules. - You will document all service activities accurately in the company’s maintenance system. - You will provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing their equipment concerns promptly. - You will adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance or field service technician roles. - Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and customers. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in the equipment rental or construction industry. - Certification in equipment repair or maintenance (e.g., ASE, EPA). - Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). - Ability to operate company vehicles and equipment safely.
