Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician 2, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing our extensive equipment fleet to ensure reliability and safety for our customers. This position requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused attitude to support our mission of being the first choice in equipment rental. What You'll Do: - You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of rental equipment including pumps, scaffolding, and construction tools. - You will perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment meets safety and operational standards. - You will document all service activities accurately and communicate effectively with dispatch and management. - You will provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and offering technical support. - You will collaborate with team members to improve service processes and equipment reliability. - You will adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while working in the field. - You will manage parts inventory and order supplies as needed to complete repairs efficiently. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance or field service technician roles. - Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a field environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with heavy construction equipment or rental equipment servicing. - Certifications in equipment repair or safety training. - Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). - Welding or fabrication skills.
