Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician 2, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing rental equipment to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This position requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality service. What You'll Do: - You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of equipment including pumps, scaffolding, and construction tools. - You will perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability and safety. - You will collaborate with the rental team to coordinate equipment availability and timely service. - You will maintain accurate service records and report on equipment status. - You will provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and offering technical support. - You will adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during service operations. - You will assist in training junior technicians and sharing best practices. What You Bring: - You bring at least 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance or field service technician roles. - You have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. - You possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. - You are proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment repair techniques. - You have excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working with rental equipment or in the construction industry. - Certifications in equipment repair or safety training. - Ability to operate heavy machinery or specialized tools. - Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
