Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician 2, you will play a critical role in maintaining and servicing our extensive equipment fleet to ensure optimal performance and safety. This position requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach to support our operations and client satisfaction. What You'll Do: - You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of rental equipment including pumps, scaffolding, and construction tools. - You will perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety. - You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to quickly resolve issues. - You will document all service activities accurately and communicate effectively with dispatch and management. - You will assist in training junior technicians and share best practices to improve team performance. - You will ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. - You will manage parts inventory and order supplies as needed to support repair work. - You will provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to service calls and addressing client concerns. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance or field service technician roles. - Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills. - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working with rental equipment or in the construction industry. - Certification in equipment repair or related technical fields. - Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). - Welding or fabrication skills.
