Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician 2, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing rental equipment to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This position requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality service. What You'll Do: - You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of equipment including pumps, scaffolding, and construction tools. - You will perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability and safety. - You will collaborate with the rental team to coordinate equipment availability and timely service. - You will maintain accurate service records and report on equipment status. - You will adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while on the job. - You will provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and offering technical support. - You will assist in training junior technicians and sharing best practices. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance or field service technician roles. - Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with heavy construction equipment or rental industry tools. - Certification in equipment repair or related technical fields. - Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). - OSHA safety certification or equivalent training.
