Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician 2, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing rental equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. What You'll Do: - You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of equipment including pumps, scaffolding, and construction tools. - You will perform routine maintenance and safety inspections to ensure equipment meets company and regulatory standards. - You will collaborate with the rental and operations teams to coordinate equipment availability and service schedules. - You will document all service activities accurately in the company’s tracking systems. - You will provide technical support and guidance to customers and team members. - You will maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. - You will participate in ongoing training to stay current with new equipment and technologies. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance or field service technician roles. - Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with heavy construction equipment or rental industry tools. - Certifications in equipment repair or safety (e.g., OSHA, EPA). - Welding or fabrication skills. - Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
