Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician 2, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing our extensive equipment fleet to ensure optimal performance and safety. You will work directly with customers and internal teams to troubleshoot, service, and support a variety of rental equipment, helping to minimize downtime and enhance customer experience. What You'll Do: - You will diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on a wide range of rental equipment. - You will perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment safety and reliability. - You will collaborate with dispatch and rental teams to prioritize service calls and manage repair schedules. - You will provide technical support and training to customers and staff on proper equipment use. - You will document all service activities accurately in company systems. - You will maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. - You will assist in inventory management of parts and tools necessary for repairs. - You will participate in continuous learning to stay updated on new equipment and technologies. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment repair or a related technical field. - Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems. - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. - Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in the equipment rental or construction industry. - Certification in equipment repair or related technical training. - Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). - Ability to operate a variety of heavy equipment.
