Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician 1, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing our extensive equipment fleet to ensure reliability and safety for our customers. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience with a variety of equipment and the opportunity to develop technical skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. What You'll Do: - You will perform routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of rental equipment. - You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize equipment downtime. - You will conduct safety inspections to ensure all equipment meets company and regulatory standards. - You will document service activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance. - You will collaborate with the rental team to coordinate equipment availability and readiness. - You will assist in loading and unloading equipment for delivery and pickup. - You will adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while on the job. What You Bring: - You have at least 1-2 years of experience in equipment maintenance or a related technical field. - You possess basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. - You have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. - You demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. - You are able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with construction or industrial equipment repair. - Certifications in equipment maintenance or safety (e.g., OSHA). - Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). - Ability to operate forklifts or other heavy machinery.
