Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician 1, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing our extensive equipment fleet to ensure reliability and safety for our customers. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance, supporting our mission to be the customer's first choice in the equipment rental industry. What You'll Do: - You will perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of rental equipment including pumps, scaffolding, and construction tools. - You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to diagnose problems accurately. - You will ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards before deployment. - You will document service activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance. - You will collaborate with the rental team to coordinate equipment availability and readiness. - You will assist in inventory management and ordering of parts as needed. - You will adhere to company safety policies and procedures at all times. - You will participate in ongoing training to enhance technical skills and knowledge. What You Bring: - Minimum of 1 year experience in equipment maintenance or a related technical field. - Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. - Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with construction or industrial equipment. - Certification in equipment repair or maintenance. - Familiarity with inventory management systems. - Ability to operate forklifts or other heavy machinery.
