Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician 1, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing our extensive equipment fleet to ensure reliability and safety for our customers. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience with a variety of equipment and the opportunity to develop technical skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. What You'll Do: - You will perform routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of rental equipment. - You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize equipment downtime. - You will conduct safety inspections to ensure all equipment meets company and regulatory standards. - You will document service activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance. - You will collaborate with the rental team to coordinate equipment availability and readiness. - You will assist in loading and unloading equipment for delivery and pickup. - You will adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while on the job. What You Bring: - Minimum of 1 year experience in equipment maintenance, mechanical repair, or a related field. - Basic knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. - Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working with construction or industrial equipment. - Certification in equipment repair or maintenance. - Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards. - Ability to operate forklifts or other heavy machinery.
