We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager (Contractor) to join our dynamic team and lead the execution of complex initiatives across Product, Content, and Engineering teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, manages multiple competing priorities with grace, and demonstrates relentless ownership and follow-through. This is a contract position with the strong potential to transition into a full-time role within the year based on performance and business needs. Key Responsibilities • Drive day-to-day management of cross-functional projects from kickoff through delivery. • Build and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables across multiple initiatives simultaneously. • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency. • Proactively identify roadblocks, gaps, and risks—and remove obstacles before they impact delivery. • Lead meetings, facilitate clear communication between teams, and document decisions/action items. • Take extreme ownership of outcomes, following up relentlessly until resolutions are achieved. • Create and maintain status updates, dashboards, and project documentation to keep leadership informed. • Support sprint planning, retrospectives, and agile workflows as needed. Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in Project Management, ideally in EdTech, SaaS, or a similar high-velocity environment. • PMP Certification or equivalent • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects under tight timelines without sacrificing quality. • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. • A self-starter mentality with a strong bias for action and accountability. • Comfortable working in ambiguity and shifting priorities—able to quickly adapt and recalibrate. • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Monday.com, Asana, Trello, Google Workspace, etc. Nice to Have • Experience in K–12 education, assessment, or instructional content development. • Familiarity with product development cycles, content pipelines, or engineering team workflows. Contract Details • Start Date: Immediate • Compensation: Competitve hourly rate (DOE) • Hours: 40 hours/week expected • Contract Duration: 3-6 months • Conversion Potential: High-performing contractors may be offered full-time roles within 6 months Why Join Us?
