Job Description The Contract Junior Financial Analyst will be focused on financial planning and analysis required to support Summit Health/CityMD site operations and core corporate business functions. The position will be focused on financial planning for individual site P&Ls and operational/productivity metrics. General responsibilities include decision support, business modeling, financial reconciliation and performance management of various initiatives, with a focus on long-term growth and strong return on investment through sustainable processes. The Junior Analyst will work with team members to ensure spending is aligned with budgets while providing insight to help reforecast and drive the operation forward as the business is impacted by expansion initiatives, life cycle growth, operational shifts and seasonality forces. This position will report on key metrics, perform business analytics through modeling and partner with Operations, Accounting, Analytics and other FP&A team-members for reporting and tracking needs. This will require hands on and interactive coordination with colleagues across the business, including clinical operations, non- clinical operations, fellow FP&A team-members, marketing, human resources, etc. Essential Functions/Responsibilities The primary duties and responsibilities of a Junior Financial Analyst are: Support FP&A and regional operations management with the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting packages, monthly reforecasts of the business, and other ad hoc reporting as needed. Partners with IT to improve data integrity and consistently improve reporting. Support in the development and compilation of quarterly board meeting presentations. Conduct MOM/YOY trend analysis for various operational and productivity metrics with the ability to concisely summarize findings to management. Assist with revenue cycle management reporting and analysis. Help with the implementation of new software systems and initiatives to optimize financial and operational processes. Consolidation and preparation of regional forecasts, reporting and dashboards. Perform deep dive analysis to uncover key trends/ insights to transform data into actionable insights. Assist in the valuation/modeling of prospective businesses as part of M&A opportunities through use of several return on investment calculations and present summarization of findings to management. Proactively seek opportunities to add value to business performance through process improvement efficiencies. Commitment to iterative improvement of KPIs and other benchmarking indicators for maximum operational and financial efficiencies. Deliver ad hoc reporting requests. Other responsibilities as needed to support the changes and growth of the business. Qualifications Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Analytics or related field. 0-2 years of progressive experience and demonstrated growth in Finance, Business Analytics or Operations positions. Team-focused mentality with the ability to work across many departments with varying levels of staff and management to solve problems and achieve results. Ability to process information and plan from both a financial and operational perspective. Strong analytical skills, efficient, self-motivated with the ability to follow through and implement process improvement. A collaborative mindset capable of building effective relationships, providing thought leadership, and interacting with all levels. Highly detail-oriented with excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation and informal communication skills. Advanced MS Excel/PowerPoint skills. Workday/Axiom/DOMO experience a plus.
