Full Description

Sugar Mountain is a creative, family-owned food company built on a simple belief: real food matters. Home to Beecher’s Handmade Cheese, Mishima Reserve, Pasta & Company, and The Butcher’s Table, we’re passionate about making delicious food with zero artificial ingredients. We’re a pioneering, collaborative, and proud team that’s been recognized as a Great Place to Work for six years running. We’re a values-driven, mission-forward culture where people roll up their sleeves, look out for each other, get sh*t done, and keep a sense of humor along the way. Our mission is big but clear: Change the Way America Eats. Sugar Mountain Livestock (SML), our luxury Wagyu beef suite of brands (Mishima Reserve, Greater Than Ten, Watershed Ranches), is growing fast and looking for a Scheduling & Sales Support Specialist. In this role, you’ll partner directly with the SML sales team to make sure the right products land with the right customers at the right price, all while ensuring production is aligned with our commitments. Think of it as equal parts coordination, collaboration, organization, and magic. Ideally, this role is based in either Seattle or Sacramento, where you’ll be close to our teams and operations, but above all, we’re looking for the right person who can collaborate, communicate, and keep things moving at our fast pace. Responsibilities: Partner with the sales team to coordinate product availability, pricing details, and key customer needs. Build and maintain weekly production schedules across SML brands, ensuring product aligns with sales commitments and margin goals. Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support for the SML sales and operations teams. Help prepare for events and trade shows, including coordinating samples and logistics; occasionally represent the SML brands on site as needed. Maintain up-to-date documentation, reports, and internal tools to keep information flowing smoothly between teams. Support cross-functional projects and jump in where needed to keep the business running seamlessly. Requirements: 2+ years of experience in sales support, scheduling, coordination, operations, or a similar role (experience in meat, agriculture, or CPG is a bonus, not required). Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and work with input from several team members. Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working in spreadsheets, order systems, or scheduling tools (we’ll train on specifics). A team-first mindset with a service-oriented approach to internal and external partners. Ability to lift and carry 20+ lbs and stand for extended periods at events when needed. Compensation & Benefits The starting salary range for this position is between $65,000 - $75,000 per year, plus an annual bonus plan. Actual compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We offer medical, dental, vision and life insurance premiums, along with paid time-off, paid holidays and a 401(k) plan with a company match. Employees enjoy a 35% employee discount at Sugar Mountain locations. Commitment to Our Communities Sugar Mountain has created the Beecher's Foundation, a non-profit funded by a portion of sales from companies under the Sugar Mountain umbrella. Aimed at educating people about the prevalence of food additives and their possible health risks, the Foundation is about giving people the tools they need to make healthy eating choices for life. We are committed to fostering a workplace where individuals of all cultures, genders, ages, sexual orientations, and abilities feel valued, respected, and empowered. Our goal is to build a team that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve and creates an environment where everyone belongs. Sugar Mountain is a tobacco- free company.
