Overview Join our dynamic healthcare education team as a Registered Nurse Nurse Aide Instructor or licensed practical nurse , where you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals. This engaging position combines clinical expertise with educational excellence, empowering aspiring nurse aides and nursing students through innovative teaching and hands-on training. You will utilize your extensive nursing background to develop comprehensive curricula, supervise student clinical experiences, and foster a supportive learning environment that promotes excellence in patient care and professional growth. Duties • Develop, review, and update curriculum materials using learning management systems (LMS) such as Blackboard to ensure alignment with current healthcare standards and educational best practices • Deliver engaging classroom instruction on nursing fundamentals, medical terminology, patient care techniques, and specialized areas including pediatrics, critical care, ICU, adult education, and senior care • Supervise and evaluate student performance during clinical rotations in teaching hospitals or healthcare facilities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and care plans • Facilitate hands-on training in skills such as documentation review and care planning for diverse patient populations • Incorporate research findings into teaching modules to promote evidence-based practice among students • Mentor students working towards certification as nurse aides or advanced nursing roles while supporting their academic progress and professional development • Oversee documentation review processes to ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements in both classroom and clinical settings Experience • Proven supervising experience in nursing education or healthcare settings with a focus on adult education or higher education teaching • Extensive background in nursing practice across hospital environments including long term care • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, instructional design, and integrating learning technology such as Blackboard or other LMS platforms • Strong familiarity with research methodologies relevant to nursing education and patient care improvements • Experience working with students in clinical or classroom environments within teaching hospitals or university settings • Knowledge of healthcare documentation standards, care plans, medical terminology, and hospital procedures • Prior roles involving nursing administration or nurse management are highly desirable to facilitate leadership within educational programs Embark on a rewarding career that combines your passion for nursing with your dedication to education.
