Job Description This project is a very high visibility rail tunnel project in NYC. *****This position’s schedule is working Swing Shift and Weekends***** JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following: Perform inspections on existing conditions, work being performed, and completed work for quality, completeness, and accuracy. Prepare written documentation, including daily work reports, controlled inspection reports, daily time and material records, and document unit price work. Review and mark plans and specifications as needed to ensure and track compliance with the work performed. Observe work conditions for compliance to applicable safety regulations. Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously; and follow through on projects to successful completion. Communicate with various parties on the progress of the work in a timely manner. Other related duties and tasks as required. QUALIFICATIONS include, but are not limited to, the following: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or in a related field preferred 1 or more years of experience in construction supervision/inspection Prior experience with rail, tunnel, structural, station preferred OSHA 30 required. Advanced certifications preferred (NICET, ACI, etc.) Ability to pass a TWIC and/or SWAC Background Check at High Level Valid driver’s license may be required depending on site location Strong written and verbal communication skills Must be able to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time Must be authorized to work in the United States Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken) Compensation Range: $63,305.00 - $84,407.00 Don’t meet every single requirement?
