Compensation: The Regional Sales Director role has a base salary range of $120,000 - $140,000 annually and an OTE range of $200,000 - $240,000. Position Summary The Regional Sales Director will lead and develop a high-performing sales team within an assigned multi-state region. This role requires strategic vision, strong leadership skills, and a passion for driving revenue growth while ensuring our mission and values are embedded in all customer interactions. The RSD will serve as the primary sales leader for the region, setting direction, coaching regional managers, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer focus. Key Responsibilities • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with company goals, focusing on revenue growth, market penetration, and long-term customer relationships. • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and coach regional sales managers and their teams, ensuring they have the skills, tools, and motivation to meet and exceed performance targets. • Sales Performance: Oversee pipeline development, forecasting accuracy, and deal closure to achieve or surpass regional revenue objectives. • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key district decision-makers, state education leaders, and other stakeholders to expand adoption of Studies Weekly’s curriculum. • Collaboration: Partner closely with marketing, product, customer success, and operations teams to align on initiatives, resolve challenges, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. • Market Insights: Monitor competitive landscape, education policy changes, and funding trends to adapt strategies and position Studies Weekly for success. • Process Improvement: Drive adoption of sales processes, CRM usage, and best practices to increase efficiency, visibility, and scalability across the region. • Professional Development: Foster continuous learning and development for team members through coaching, feedback, and targeted training. • Budget Oversight: Manage regional travel and expense budgets responsibly while maximizing return on investment for customer-facing activities. • Brand Advocacy: Represent Studies Weekly at conferences, events, and industry forums, serving as a visible and credible ambassador for our mission and solutions. This position requires the employee to stand, sit, bend, stoop, crawl, kneel, ascend and descend stairs. Also to reach with arms and hands, and use hands and fingers to feel, handle, and manipulate keyboard keys. The employee is also required to lift up to 20 lbs. Travel by car and air is required.
