Role Overview: As a Senior Field Service & Training Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting our Product Support Group by delivering expert field service and training focused on electric vehicle (EV) systems. This remote position is ideal for a seasoned EV technician who excels in troubleshooting, mentoring, and enhancing customer experience through effective training and technical guidance. What You'll Do: - You will provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for electric vehicle systems to customers and field teams. - You will develop and deliver comprehensive training programs tailored to EV technologies and service best practices. - You will collaborate with product development and support teams to relay field insights and improve product performance. - You will mentor and guide junior technicians, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing. - You will manage remote diagnostics and support, ensuring timely resolution of complex technical issues. - You will document service procedures, training materials, and customer feedback to enhance support resources. - You will participate in continuous learning initiatives to stay current with emerging EV technologies and industry trends. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an electric vehicle field technician or in a related technical support role. - Strong expertise in EV systems diagnostics, repair, and maintenance. - Proven ability to develop and deliver technical training programs. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse audiences. - Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment. - Proficiency with diagnostic tools, software, and remote support technologies. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with hybrid vehicle systems and alternative energy technologies. - Background in automotive product development or engineering support. - Certification in EV technology or related technical fields. - Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
