Role Overview: As a Senior Field Service & Training Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting our Product Support Group by delivering expert field service and training focused on electric vehicle systems. This position is ideal for a seasoned EV technician who enjoys problem-solving, mentoring, and working remotely to provide exceptional technical guidance. What You'll Do: - You will provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for electric vehicle systems to field technicians and customers. - You will develop and deliver comprehensive training programs and materials tailored to EV technologies. - You will collaborate with product development and support teams to communicate field insights and improve product performance. - You will mentor and guide junior technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge in EV systems. - You will manage remote diagnostics and support calls, ensuring timely resolution of complex technical issues. - You will document service procedures, training content, and technical reports to maintain knowledge bases. - You will participate in continuous learning to stay current with emerging EV technologies and industry trends. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of experience as an electric vehicle field technician or in a related technical support role. - Strong expertise in EV systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques. - Proven experience in delivering technical training and mentoring. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse teams. - Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certification in electric vehicle technology or related fields. - Experience with remote diagnostic tools and software platforms. - Background in automotive product development or engineering support. - Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance in the EV industry.
