Role Overview: As a Senior Field Service & Training Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting our Product Support Group by leveraging your expertise in electric vehicle systems. This remote position is ideal for a seasoned EV field technician who excels in delivering technical support and training to enhance team capabilities and customer success. What You'll Do: - You will provide expert field service support for electric vehicle systems, troubleshooting complex technical issues remotely and on-site. - You will develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to internal teams and customers, ensuring up-to-date knowledge of EV technologies. - You will collaborate with product development and support teams to communicate field insights and improve product performance. - You will create detailed technical documentation and training materials tailored to various audiences. - You will mentor junior technicians, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing. - You will analyze service data to identify trends and recommend proactive solutions. - You will participate in customer meetings and technical presentations to build strong relationships. - You will stay current with industry advancements and regulatory changes affecting EV systems. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an electric vehicle field technician or in a related technical support role. - Strong knowledge of EV systems, including battery management, charging infrastructure, and power electronics. - Proven experience in delivering technical training and creating educational content. - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders. - Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certification in electric vehicle technology or related fields. - Experience with diagnostic software and tools specific to EV systems. - Background in automotive product development or engineering. - Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory compliance for electric vehicles.
