Role Overview: As a Senior Field Service & Training Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting our Product Support Group by delivering expert field service and training focused on electric vehicle (EV) systems. This remote position is ideal for an experienced EV technician who excels in troubleshooting, mentoring, and enhancing customer and team capabilities. What You'll Do: - You will provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for electric vehicle systems to field technicians and customers. - You will develop and deliver comprehensive training programs and materials tailored to EV technologies. - You will collaborate with product development and support teams to communicate field insights and improve service processes. - You will mentor and guide junior technicians to build their expertise and confidence in EV systems. - You will analyze service data to identify trends and recommend proactive solutions. - You will participate in remote and on-site service calls as needed to resolve complex technical issues. - You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry advancements and regulatory requirements related to electric vehicles. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an electric vehicle field technician or in a related technical support role. - Strong expertise in EV system diagnostics, repair, and maintenance. - Proven experience in delivering technical training and mentoring. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly. - Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certification in electric vehicle technology or related fields. - Experience with software tools used for EV diagnostics and training. - Background in automotive electronics and battery management systems. - Prior experience in a customer-facing technical advisory role.
