We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Remote Quantitative Data Specialist to collect, analyze, and interpret complex datasets to support data-driven business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistics, data modeling, and quantitative analysis. You will work remotely with cross-functional teams to provide insights, build predictive models, and translate numerical findings into actionable business recommendations. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: • Gather, clean, and validate large data sets from multiple sources for quantitative analysis. • Perform statistical modeling, trend analysis, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making. • Use quantitative techniques to identify patterns, correlations, and opportunities for process optimization. • Develop and implement predictive models, regression analyses, and data visualizations. • Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and business analysts to interpret complex results. • Automate data collection and analysis processes using scripting languages and analytical tools. • Prepare comprehensive reports and visual dashboards to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Support the development of KPIs, performance metrics, and data-driven strategies for various business units. • Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality in compliance with organizational policies. • Stay up to date with emerging trends in data analytics, machine learning, and quantitative research. ⸻ Required Skills and Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. • 2+ years of experience in data analytics, quantitative research, or data science. • Strong proficiency in analytical and statistical software such as: • Python (NumPy, pandas, SciPy, scikit-learn) • R • SQL • Excel (advanced level) • Solid understanding of statistical methods, hypothesis testing, and data modeling. • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib). • Familiarity with machine learning techniques and predictive analytics is a plus. • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a remote work environment. ⸻ Preferred Qualifications (Optional): • Experience working with big data platforms (e.g., Google BigQuery, AWS Redshift, Snowflake). • Background in financial modeling, market analysis, or business intelligence. • Experience with time-series analysis, forecasting, or optimization techniques. • Certification in data analytics, statistics, or machine learning (e.g., Microsoft Data Analyst, Google Data Analytics, etc.). ⸻ Work Environment: • Fully remote position — flexible schedule based on project timelines. • Collaboration through tools like Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, and Jira. • Work closely with cross-functional global teams in data, finance, operations, and strategy. • Supportive, data-driven culture with opportunities for career growth and professional development.
