The Lead Instructional Designer will create and maintain training and performance support materials for the Accelerate ERP program. This includes designing and delivering training programs using adult learning methodologies across multiple formats.
A Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of work experience or 6+ years of equivalent experience is required. Demonstrated experience in adult learning, instructional design, e-learning, and training methodologies is essential.
Work Flexibility: Remote What you will do The Lead Instructional Designer will create and maintain training and performance support materials for the Accelerate ERP program, including: classroom, virtual, e-learning and on-the-job. In this role you will focus on creating and leading learning experiences both in and out of the classroom. In this position you will be a member of the Accelerate training team. Additional responsibilities Design and deliver training programs using adult learning methodologies across multiple formats including instructor-led, web-based, and on-the-job training. Develop and maintain training materials such as course outlines, coaching guides, job aids, and system demonstrations using tools like Articulate Storyline, Enable Now, and SharePoint. Validate and refine training scope, audience, and approach based on change impacts, lessons learned, and business feedback. Manage stakeholder engagement by partnering with process owners, SMEs, and trainers to ensure alignment and content accuracy. Lead training logistics including scheduling, environment setup, training IDs, and classroom support. Maintain and update training content and Learning Management System (LMS) entries in response to system or process changes. Support Train-the-Trainer programs by preparing Power Users to deliver classroom training effectively. Track and report progress of training development and delivery, ensuring timely execution and continuous improvement. What you need Required qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of work experience or 6+ years of equivalent experience with a degree preferred in training, business, quality or related field Demonstrated experience of adult learning, instructional design, e-learning and training methodologies Experience using training technologies such as Articulate Storyline, Enable Now, and LMS platforms Preferred qualifications Project management experience in training initiatives with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once Experience working with translation vendors for global training audiences Familiarity with SharePoint and evaluation tools for training effectiveness $77,200 - $123,700k salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
