The Associate Employee Relations Manager conducts high-volume HR investigations and provides counsel to HRBPs and managers on employee relations matters. This role also analyzes data trends to mitigate risks and drive improvements in the company's culture of integrity.
A Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience or 12+ years of total work experience is required. Preferred qualifications include 3+ years in business-facing HR roles and experience with tools like PowerBI and MS Excel.
Work Flexibility: Remote What you will do The Associate Employee Relations Manager serves as a member of the Employee Relations/HR Investigations team and is viewed as an inter-divisional subject matter expert (SME) that will support and partner with others in the employee relations teams, HRBPs and managers. This person will manages and conduct HR Investigations for a high volume portfolio of cases for the Global Quality Operations (GQO) team. This role will also provide counsel and advice to HRBPs and managers on employee relations matters. This professional may work remotely. Conducts high-volume HR investigations across the U.S., including intake, planning, interviews, recommendations, determinations, and reporting; communicate case status and outcomes to managers and HRBPs. Provides additional support on high level, complex cases across the entire US as needed. Analyzes HR investigations, employee relations and other data trends to address and mitigate risk and support and drive our culture of integrity. Partners with HR and managers to drive necessary improvements. Responds to alleged violation of rules, regulations, policies, procedures and standards of conduct through the initiation of appropriate investigation procedures in partnership with Legal, Compliance and local HR teams. Provides counsel and advice to managers and HRBPs regarding employee relations issues, submits recommendations on addressing employee relations matters and assists with taking steps in response Develops and delivers training to managers, employees and HRBPs. Supports in defining the standards and processes related to employee relations across the US. Provides coaching to HRBPs on employee relations matters in addition to work environment matters Coordinates with compliance and legal regarding employee discipline for compliance investigations that are not work environment matters. May also assist in these investigations. Maintains knowledge of current and emerging laws and regulations, and periodically reviews and updates applicable standards, trends and issues affecting the company work environment and policies. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
