With locations nationwide and in select international markets, we serve the Commercial, Public, Industrial, and Power markets. We are currently recruiting for a Nuclear Business Development Manager who will help us grow in the Nuclear Power Generation market. The person taking on this role will focus on creating and maintaining high value relationships, and project opportunities, in nuclear power plants across the United States. The role focuses on helping nuclear power plant owners manage the service life of existing civil infrastructure through developing, producing and delivering repair solutions. It includes managing complex project pursuits working with a multidisciplined internal team including engineering and construction operations. This is a client interface position that requires substantial travel to nuclear power plants anticipated to be a minimum of 60%. Activities that are part of the role: Building, maintaining, and growing relationships in nuclear power generation plants through one-to-one meetings, presentations, etc. Identifying and developing project opportunities targeting collaborative delivery scenarios. Facilitating project opportunities through an internal team that includes various disciplines including engineering and construction operations. Attending and/or presenting at industry conferences and trade shows. Actively participating in industry associations. All of the traditional business development activities are expectations of the role including supporting proposal development, diligent internal and client follow-up, and use of Salesforce to manage client relationships and project pursuits. Comfort working in a highly collaborative environment is important for the person in this role, including communicating with cross functional business leaders and teams. Successful candidates will have the following attributes: 10-15 years of sales experience in the Power Generation market, with nuclear experience preferred Goal-oriented, positive mindset combined with high level of communication skills Strong understanding of developing complex projects over extended sales cycle Candidates with the following are preferred: Basic to advanced technical understanding of concrete construction, concrete repair and associated technologies aimed at extending the service life of concrete structures Experience working in a team environment, preferably engineered products or services in a multi-stepped process Bachelor’s degree STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES is proud of a company culture that promotes 24/7 safety, quality, and collaborative teamwork.
