Job Description SUMMARY: The Learning Development Specialist, part time contractor is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs and conference support to educate our employees, customers, and school partners on the Stride/K12 products and services, including interactive workshops, development of support assets, and improve online modules. This part-time contractor position extends through April 2026, with opportunities for role expansion and continuation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties. · Design and develop engaging presentation materials for conferences, events, and trainings; · Offer specialized expertise to guide the development, review, and refinement of training, event, and conference materials, ensuring they meet organizational standards and effectively engage target audiences; · Conduct virtual training sessions for various audiences, including teachers, administrators, existing employees, customers, and presenters; · Support operational duties and tasks for Talent Development conferences; · Collaborate with subject matter experts, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and insights needed to create effective training content; · Continuously assess training needs and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics; · Provide ongoing support and guidance to all stakeholders by answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and addressing training-related inquiries; · Supports initiatives to increase engagement with Talent Development conferences, events, and trainings; · Attends all meetings pertaining to product and platform functionality and/or enhancements; Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: · Two (2) to five (5) years of related experience in talent development, educational training or related position · Understanding of effective training methodologies and a true passion for working with adult learners · Microsoft Office 365; Web proficiency. · Ability to clear required background check Certificates and Licenses: None required. Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position’s level and expected contribution, and the employee’s benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range. We anticipate this position will pay $24.71 - $30.00 per hour. This is a temporary/contractor role, and you will be an employee of Randstad. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions.
